His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser, has been featured in TIME magazine's annual list of the 100 most influential people in artificial intelligence.

The TIME100 AI list includes leaders, innovators, thinkers and shapers who are building our AI future.

Sheikh Tahnoun is part of the 'shapers' category, which includes the likes of actors Scarlett Johansson and Anil Kapoor, and Steve Huffman, Co-founder and CEO of Reddit.

The list also includes Faisal Al Bannai, Secretary General of the UAE's Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC), who has been named in the 'leaders' category.

To assemble the second edition of the list, TIME’s editors and reporters solicited nominations and recommendations from industry leaders and dozens of expert sources.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, hailed the achievements of Sheikh Tahnoun and Al Bannai.

In a post on the platform X, Sheikh Mohammed said: "Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who leads several institutions, companies, partnerships and programmes, is contributing to shaping the future of this sector, not only locally but globally, and is also contributing to shaping the future of global economy."

"Faisal Al Bannai, a member of the national team in this sector, is also among the officials of the world’s leading companies in this field. The homeland is proud of you," added Sheikh Mohammed.
