Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has held meetings with officials from Uzbekistan and South Africa on the sidelines of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.
Sheikh Abdullah discussed expanding cooperation across various sectors, including the economic, trade and investment fields with Ronald Lamola, Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa.
He also reviewed the strategic partnership between the UAE and Uzbekistan with Jamshid Khodjaev, Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, while exploring ways to deepen collaboration across key areas including trade, investment, renewable energy, and environmental sustainability.
Sheikh Abdullah highlighted the UAE's shared commitment to advance relations and support in both meetings, with the goal of achieving comprehensive development and sustainable economic prosperity.
Aside from the meetings, the UAE diplomat further strengthened relations through holding bilateral talks with his counterparts in Iran and Norway during separate phone calls on Tuesday.
