Foreign Ministers of the UAE and Iran have called for the protection of civilian lives in Israel and Gaza.
During a call on Wednesday, UAE's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian discussed the ongoing Israeli-Hamas conflict and its repercussions.
The ministers highlighted the regional and international efforts being made to de-escalate the situation.
Sheikh Abdullah warned of the danger of continued escalation to the security and stability of the region, underscoring the importance of unifying and coordinating all regional and international efforts with the aim of ending extremism and the escalating tension that could have dire consequences for the region and its people.
