Salik, Parkonic, Dubai Holding launch AI-powered parking in key communities

Dubai Media Office

Salik, Parkonic and Dubai Holding have joined forces to launch the region’s first fully autonomous, AI-powered parking system across iconic communities in Dubai, covering more than 36,000 on-street and off-street parking spaces.

Fully aligned with Dubai’s Smart City 2030 and Future Mobility Vision, the new system eliminates the need for tickets, barriers or manual inspection.

Using the private parking operator Parkonic’s AI technology and toll operator Salik’s seamless payment integration, drivers will enjoy a completely contactless parking experience with automatic billing and no need to worry about fines for overstays.

Developed and operated entirely in the UAE, the project is also expected to help reduce congestion, lower carbon emissions, and support Dubai’s Net Zero goals.

"This collaboration goes beyond parking—it's about preparing for autonomous vehicles, AI-driven services, and a fully integrated mobility ecosystem," said Imad Alameddine, CEO of Parkonic.
