RTA serves 37 million users during Expo 2020 Dubai

As many as 37.3 million people used the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) services during the six months of Expo 2020 Dubai.

That's according to the latest figures released by the authority, which said 26.3 million used Dubai Metro, public buses, taxis and e-hail rides, constituting 67 per cent of the total figures.

The RTA’s transit means served 37 per cent of Expo visitors, and about 11.038 million motorists used RTA’s parking slots during Expo.

The authority added that technology such as smart apps were used to ease the movement of Expo visitors onboard the Metro, buses and taxis.

Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the RTA, highlighted the unique, easy and fast transportation services for both participants and visitors to Expo2020 Dubai.
