Philippine President hails UAE’s continued support

The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a phone call on Monday from Ferdinand Marcos Jr., the President of the Philippines.

The two leaders discussed enhancing bilateral cooperation, focusing on economic, trade, investment and development sectors that align with the shared interests of their countries.

Marcos thanked Sheikh Mohamed for the UAE's ongoing support, particularly praising the initiative to train 100 members of the Philippine National Police in child protection.

He also expressed gratitude for the humanitarian aid provided by the UAE to flood victims in the Philippines and assistance offered to Filipino nationals in Lebanon amid the current crisis.
