A magnitude 4.6 earthquake measuring on the Richter Scale was recorded in southern Iran on Friday morning at 08:38 GST (UAE time zone).
That's according to the country's National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) National Seismic Network.
It said that the quake had no effect on the UAE.
