The Ministry of Health and Prevention has denied information about an alleged decision to close commercial establishments in the country again.
A screen grab of a note bearing MOHAP’s emblem is being circulated on social media, saying the closure will come into force within 48 hours.
It explained that the announcement is an old one - it dates back to March 23, around the time of the start of the pandemic,
The UAE's National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) made the clarification in a Tweet:
