His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, chaired a meeting of the Ministerial Development Council to review several government reports and discuss legislative proposals submitted by ministries and federal entities.
The meeting's agenda included discussions on regulatory decisions related to human resources policies for mosque employees across the UAE, as well as measures governing tax procedures, federal public finance, and regulations concerning competition laws, accounting and auditing.
In governmental affairs, the council examined updates on the implementation of digital government initiatives, the health insurance system and visa policies for visitors to the UAE.
The council also reviewed reports on the UAE's participation in the G20 Culture Ministers’ Meeting held in Brazil, updates on economic cooperation within the Gulf Cooperation Council framework, and the outcomes of the 40th ministerial meeting of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.
The UAE's Ministry of Interior has confirmed it is closely monitoring regional developments and remains at the highest level of readiness to take all necessary precautionary measures to safeguard the country and its people.
