H.H. Sheikh Mohammed marks national achievements ahead of 2025

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has expressed pride in the UAE and its advancement over the last year, adding 2025 he welcomes "greater determination" for its continued prosperity. 

“Every year, may the Emirates be in glory, pride, prosperity, and stability... Every year, may the world be well and at peace... Every year, may humanity advance to new horizons,” the ruler said on a social media platform X.

The leader recalled the UAE’s achievements over the last year in a video posted on his X account, saying 140 deals with 55 countries around the world were made, the country recorded AED 660 million in non-oil GDP and AED 2.3 trillion worth of foreign trade in H1.

The video also said a record 200,000 new companies were established in, the country ranked #5 globally in AI development, with 40 national establishments dedicated for the advancement of AI.

“We welcome 2025 with greater optimism, greater ambitions, and a greater determination to continue the journey of growth and prosperity,” he added.
