H.H. Sheikh Mohammed, India's Modi discuss ways to enhance ties

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed ways to advance relations between the two countries.

The two leaders discussed a number of topics in the field of trade and transportation between the two countries.

The meeting came on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit in Dubai. 

Taking to social media, Modi said it is "always a delight to meet His Highness Sheikh Mohammed and his vision for Dubai’s growth is clearly visible to the entire world".

He also said that discussions covered a wide range of subjects from commerce to connectivity, and ways to boost people to people linkages.

India, along with Turkey and Qatar, was named "guests of honour" at this year's World Governments Summit.
