Dr Anwar Gargash, diplomatic advisor to the UAE president, has shut down rumours related to the UAE cancelling labour residencies and providing financial assistance to Iran, stating they are "untrue information and part of desperate media campaigns".
In a post on social media platform X, Gargash noted that platforms have been targeting the UAE and sharing false information during a period where the country continues to focus on addressing regional developments and preparing for its "post-phase".
"The UAE's approach is that the best response to such claims is through work and tangible achievements on the ground," he added.
