Dubai Municipality has announced that its parks and recreational facilities attracted over 31 million visitors in 2024, marking a 7% increase from the previous year.

This growth highlights its ongoing efforts to develop these spaces into top leisure and tourist destinations.

More than 20 million people visited public parks, with the five major parks—Zabeel, Mushrif, Al Mamzar Beach, Dubai Creek, and Safa Park—drawing a combined 6.69 million.

Other popular spots included the Quranic Park, attracting 1.8 million visitors, and the Dubai Frame, with 1.59 million.

Children’s City welcomed over 112,000 visitors, and playgrounds drew 180,000 people, while cycling, mountain biking and pedestrian tracks also saw high usage, with 1.49 million users.

Bader Anwahi, CEO of Dubai Municipality’s Public Facilities Agency, credited the world-class design of these spaces, which are also central to Dubai’s Urban Plan 2024 and the Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033, as well as the Dubai Walk Masterplan, which aims to make Dubai a pedestrian-friendly city with a world-class network of green spaces and sustainable recreational areas.

Dubai Municipality manages over 220 public parks and recreational facilities, which hosted 1,283 events and initiatives in 2024, covering cultural, sporting, and community activities like the Dubai Fitness Challenge and Farmers Souq.

The municipality also achieved a 98% efficiency rate in maintaining these facilities, ensuring a sustainable, high-quality experience for visitors.
