Dubai Municipality has opened a pet adoption centre at the Bird and Pet Market in Warsan, providing a dedicated home for stray and abandoned animals while making it easier for residents to adopt.
The facility includes a customer service centre, dedicated viewing areas where prospective owners can meet animals before adopting them, a fully equipped veterinary clinic and a surgical operating theatre fitted with the latest veterinary technology.
Alongside the opening, Dubai Municipality has launched a dedicated online platform to simplify the adoption process, allowing residents to browse available pets and begin their adoption journey digitally.
Officials said the centre forms part of wider efforts to promote responsible pet ownership, improve animal welfare and provide safe, humane care for stray and abandoned animals across the emirate.
