More than 10 million meals were prepared for people in Gaza during the "Ahmed bin Rashid Humanitarian Bridge" event at Dubai World Trade Centre on Saturday, attended by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The event brought together members of the community to prepare food assistance for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed, Chairman of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed joined participants as they worked to prepare the meals.
Organisers said the initiative aimed to provide humanitarian support to people in Gaza while encouraging community participation and volunteering.
The event also highlighted the role of collective humanitarian efforts in supporting communities affected by crises.
The Ahmed bin Rashid Humanitarian Bridge was held in recognition of the humanitarian legacy of the late Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and his support for charitable and humanitarian causes.
