You will no longer be charged any extra fees when using your credit card to pay for fuel. According to the Ministry of Economy, the Higher Committee for Consumer Protection has told petrol stations to stop charging the AED 2 fee on card transactions. If any station continues to collect such fees, customers are encouraged to call the Consumer Protection Department call centre to report them.
