COVID-19: UAE announces 339 new cases; 1 death

The UAE has confirmed 339 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 67,621.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), more than 69,000 additional tests have been carried out across the Emirates.

The number of recoveries has gone up to 58,754 after another 172 people received the all-clear.

The ministry has also confirmed the death of one patient, bringing the total number of fatalities to 377.

This means that there are currently 8,490 active cases in the country.
