Twelve establishments have been penalised by Dubai Economy during the latest round of inspections to ensure compliance with the COVID-19 precautionary measures.
Five firms have been fined, while seven others were issued warnings.
A total of 731 establishments were found to be fully compliant with the rules during the latest field visits.
The authority has stressed that the inspections are aimed at educating establishments about the importance of complying with the rules, and urged residents to log violations via the Dubai Consumer app.
