The UAE has confirmed 1,234 new cases of COVID-19 from 71,466 tests.
Another 1,516 people have recovered, taking the recovery tally to 132,024.
Meanwhile, one more patient has died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 497.
A total of 135,141 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 2,620 are currently active.
