Campaigning for the UAE's upcoming Federal National Council election has been postponed until Tuesday. It’s been delayed by two days, as the country mourns the loss of 45 Emirati soldiers killed in Yemen. A list of 341 candidates was earlier approved by the National Election Committee. Applications can be withdrawn before September 14, while voting is scheduled for October 3.
