Policymakers and heads of international organisations have called for more concrete policies that will establish a culture of tolerance worldwide.
That’s the main takeaway of the World Tolerance Summit, which came to an end in Dubai on Thursday.
The event was organised by the International Institute for Tolerance and was one of the initiatives of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives.
It was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
A number of government officials, foundations and organisations, ministers, experts and clerics participated in the day two sessions, which included inspirational sessions and interactive workshops.
