A residential building under construction on Al Etihad road in Sharjah caught fire this afternoon. The cause of the fire is still unknown. Civil defence are on the scene and it’s unclear whether anyone is injured. Residents are being advised to avoid the area, as heavy smoke is causing traffic delays. Eyewitness Jameel Ahmed spoke to ARN and told us what he saw.
