A third of marine life in the Arabian Gulf could be wiped out by 2090 due to the effects of climate change, claim scientists.
Researchers at the seventh Government World Summit said that oceans are heating up faster than expected, and that the Arabian Gulf is particularly at risk due to its shallow basin.
The panel also discussed how plastic, in particular, is a threat to the oceans.
