Fifteen new mosques are being constructed in the emirate of Abu Dhabi at a cost of AED 45 million.
Seven of them will be located in Abu Dhabi city, five in Al Ain and three others in Al Dhafra region.
They will be able to accommodate a total of 6,334 worshippers, and are expected to be ready by the end of this year.
The location for each mosque has been identified based on the current and future population distribution patterns in different areas.
