The UAE confirmed 1,520 new cases of COVID-19 from 273,251 tests on Friday.
Another 1,481 people have been given the all-clear, taking the overall recovery tally to 667,074.
Two patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,969.
A total of 690,009 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 20,966 are currently active.
