With 14 runs needed from the final over, Ireland’s Max Sorensen bowled two no-balls, one of which went for four and another which went for four byes to seal the victory. Oman’s Munis Ansari took 3-37 and opener Zeeshan Maqsood top scored with 38. Ireland now need to avoid defeat against Bangladesh on Friday to stay in the tournament, while Oman take on the Netherlands.
