Remi Garde has left Premier League strugglers, Aston Villa. The announcement was made last night that the Frenchman will leave the club by mutual consent. Garde only took the helm at Villa in November, but the side are sitting bottom of the table and facing relegation to the Championship, having won only two of their 20 league games during his tenure. First team coach Eric Black will stand in as acting manager.
