Former UEFA President Michel Platini is escalating his football ban to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). The Court said Platini is seeking an annulment of the FIFA ban, under which he cannot take part in anything related to the sport for six years. Last week, FIFA upheld a ban against Platini and former President Sepp Blatter, but reduced the duration from eight to six years.
