The Green Bay Packers recorded a narrow 10-3 victory over the Chicago Bears to get the 100th National Football League (NFL) season underway.
In a game that featured two of the best defensive units in the league, it was a matter of who could restrict the other teams offensive players the best.
In the end it was Green Bay that come out on top in what was Matt LaFleur's first competitive game in charge of the team after he replaced Mike McCarthy in the off-season.
Seven NFL games will be played on Sunday.
