Stunning performances by Ishan Kishan and Jasprit Bumrah powered Mumbai Indians to their sixth Indian Premier League final.
They outclassed Delhi Capitals by 57 runs at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Thursday.
Kishan put on an unbeaten 60-run partnership with Hardik Pandya to secure 200 runs for five, while Bumrah's 4-14 helped restrict Delhi to 143 for eight.
"We know in the big games runs on the board is always critical no matter what the conditions are," Rohit Sharma told reporters.
"You put runs on the board there is always an additional pressure on the opposition. And also of course our bowling unit has been terrific through the tournament. The way we played today was absolutely perfect."
Delhi still have another chance at qualifying when they play the winner of Friday’s eliminator to make their maiden final.
