Mark Cavendish is the latest high profile competitor to withdraw from the World Road Cycling Championships. The former champion has not completely recovered from a crash during the Tour of Britain. His absence follows the withdrawals of Tour de France winner Chris Froome and Geraint Thomas from the British squad. The 2015 Worlds starts in Virginia, USA next week.
