Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga is set to retire from One-Day Internationals after the first game of the upcoming three-match series against Bangladesh.
Friday's opening encounter in Colombo is likely to be his farewell game, according to team captain Dimuth Karunaratne.
The 35-year-old played his last Test match in 2010 but continued playing the shorter formats.
With 335 wickets from 225 ODIs, Malinga is Sri Lanka’s third-highest wicket-taker.
