England fast bowler James Anderson has been ruled out of the first Test of the cricket tour of South Africa. He will miss the match in Durban on Boxing Day (December 26) with a calf strain. The 33-year-old is likely to be replaced by Chris Woakes. It is not thought to be a serious injury and Anderson could be fit for the second Test, which starts in Cape Town on January 2. South Africa are currently the top-ranked Test team in the world, while England are ranked sixth.
