Shane Watson then hit three sixes in a row in one over, and Sarfaraz Khan ended their innings with an unbeaten 35 off 10 deliveries. David Warner led the Hyderabad response with a 21-ball half century, but it wasn’t enough as they could only make 182-6. It's the first game in IPL 9 in which the team batting first has won.
