Tickets for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup hosted by Bangladesh staged in the UAE, go on sale on Tuesday September 24.
The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup will take place in the UAE between October 3-20, with matches set to be played at the Dubai International Stadium and Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
The tournament brings together 10 international teams from Africa, Americas, Asia, East-Asia Pacific, and Europe.
Over the course of the 18-day tournament the world’s best 10 international T20 teams will compete across 23 games as they bid to be crowned ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 champions.
The tournament format sees teams split into two groups of five, with sides playing every side in their group once. Top two finishers in the group stage move onto the semi-finals, with teams finishing first in their groups meeting the second-place finisher in the opposing group.
Group A features Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, while Group B features South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh, Scotland.
All female officials, including ten umpires and three match referees, will officiate the ninth edition of the tournament.
Organised in partnership with Emirates Cricket Board’s (ECB) and Dubai Sports Council (DSC), the tournament is the first global women’s cricket event to be held in the region.
Prior to the main event, each team will participate in two warm-up matches, starting on September 28 to fine-tune their preparations for the competition.
