Formula 4 motor racing is on track for its debut in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. According to Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, the UAE will be the first country in the MENA region to set up a Formula 4 series. 18 races will be staged between October 2016 to March 2017, at Dubai Autodrome and Abu Dhabi's Yas Marina circuit. Sheikh Nahyan noted that hosting the FIA F4 series reflects the global stature the UAE has achieved in motor sports.
