Leicester star Danny Drinkwater has been rewarded for his club form for the table toppers with a call-up to the England squad. Boss Roy Hodgson believes the uncapped midfielder could feature in this month's friendlies with Germany and the Netherlands. Drinkwater's team are currently top of the Premier League, and favourites to win the title. Tottenham’s Danny Rose and Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge are also in the 24-man squad, but Wayne Rooney is left out as he recovers from a knee injury.
