Dubai Basketball secured their first away victory in Europe’s ABA League, defeating Slovenia’s Cedevita Olimpija 92-84 on Sunday night.

This marks the team's second consecutive win following a dramatic victory over defending champions Crvena Zvezda last weekend.

Playing in his native homeland in Slovenia, captain Klemen Prepelic shone with 23 points, alongside 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals.

The dynamic duo of Nate Mason (20 and 7 assists) and Isaiah Taylor (10) also hit double figures.

Jacorey Williams dominated in the paint with 9 rebounds and 6 points, along with a stellar defensive performance that helped keep Cedevita Olimpija’s star and NBA veteran, Devin Robinson, to only 14 points.

The game kicked off with Prepelic hitting a jump shot and two free throws, giving Dubai an early advantage.

Despite a brief equalizer from Cedevita, the visitors surged ahead, ending the first quarter at 29-17 and leading 63-42 by halftime.

Dubai continued to build their lead, scoring 20 points in the third quarter, ultimately sealing the 92-84 victory and making a statement in the league.

Head Coach Jurica Golemac praised his team’s performance, noting their energy and execution against a tough opponent.

"Overall, I am satisfied. When we saw the games schedule, everyone said let's go and win the first two which we have done. We all want to be very competitive and aggressive and not think about being beaten," he said.

Looking ahead, Dubai Basketball will host Serbia’s Mega MIS at the Coca-Cola Arena on Saturday, October 5.
