Conor Gallagher netted twice as Chelsea came from behind to beat Crystal Palace 1-3 at Selhurst Park to climb into the top half of the table.
Palace had taken the lead through a superb strike from Jefferson Lerma on the 30-minute mark, while Mauricio Pochettino’s team failed to register a shot on goal until the stroke of half time.
Things quickly changed in the second half when former Palace loanee Gallagher smashed the ball past Dean Henderson just two minutes into the second half.
The game remained level until stoppage time when Gallagher popped up again to break Palace hearts. Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez secured the three points for the away team with a tidy near post finish to lift his side into the top half of the table.
Pressure is mounting on Palace manager Roy Hodgson as his side remain just five points above the relegation zone. The home supporters held banners displaying their frustration with the club after a string of bad results.
