Top seed Felix Auger-Aliassime is through to the semifinals of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships after beating eighth seed Jiri Lehecka 6-3, 7-6.
The Canadian will next face third seed Daniil Medvedev, who eased past Jenson Brooksby 6-2, 6-1.
Medvedev has not dropped a set so far in the tournament, and this marks his third semifinal appearance in Dubai.
Auger-Aliassime, who stands just two victories away from avenging last year’s final loss to Stefanos Tsitsipas, advances to his third consecutive tour-level semifinal.
Elsewhere, fifth seed Andrey Rublev rolled into his fifth Dubai semifinal with a 6-2, 6-4 win over France’s Arthur Rinderknech.
