You can now send a letter to your 50-year-old self in a new Dubai initiative that marks the Year of the 50th.
Called the "Messages to the Future", it invites UAE residents to write a letter to their future selves, in which they encapsulate their dreams and visualise their journey in the future of the UAE.
This initiative will also act as time capsules, documenting the individual's journey and allowing them to reflect on their plans for the future.
Designed by the Committee for Celebrating the Golden Jubilee of the United Arab Emirates, the letters can be sent in different formats - written, video or photographic.
The portal to submit messages is now open.
Four displayed entries show a variety of optimistic messages marked to the senders themselves.
