Dubai has launched its first-ever virtual 'Emirati Family' powered by artificial intelligence — an initiative by Digital Dubai aimed at promoting digital services in a fun, relatable way.
The project kicked off with the debut of the first character, 'The Girl', introduced in a social media video.
Dressed in traditional attire with a modern twist, she is designed to connect with children and families and spark conversations about AI and digital life.
The public is now being invited to vote on her name, choosing between Dubai, Mira or Latifa.
More characters, including a father, mother and brother, will follow soon, forming a full AI-powered digital family that reflects Emirati values and society.
The AI-powered family will serve as a friendly and interactive platform to share government messages and promote Dubai’s digital services in a light and accessible way. The project reflects Emirati values while connecting with people of all ages and backgrounds.
The initiative seeks to raise awareness of Dubai’s advanced digital services by promoting the concept of digital life through an interactive, human-centred approach. It is designed to engage people of all ages, cultures, nationalities, and languages, through virtual characters… pic.twitter.com/32Un2YZILn
