Emirati adventurer Saeed Al Memari has achieved a major milestone by successfully reaching the summit of Kanchenjunga, the highest peak in India and the third-highest in the world at 8,586 metres.
The climb took four days, starting from the main base camp last Thursday.
At the summit, Al Memari proudly raised the UAE flag, along with a portrait of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ministry of Defence flag, and the logo of Calidus Holding, the official sponsor of the expedition.
His achievement marks another proud moment for Emirati adventurers on the global stage.
