UAE joins Saudi Arabia in celebrating 96th National Day

The UAE will join Saudi Arabia in marking the Kingdom’s 96th National Day on September 23, reflecting the strong and long-standing ties between the two countries.

Their partnership is a key pillar of Gulf unity, with close cooperation supporting economic growth, regional stability and joint Arab action.

Economic ties between the two countries continue to grow, with bilateral non-oil trade exceeding AED 107 billion in the first half of 2026.

That’s an increase of nearly 18 per cent compared with the same period last year.

For the whole of 2025, bilateral non-oil trade stood at around AED 206 billion.

Saudi Arabia has continued to record significant economic, development and tourism achievements under Vision 2030, with non-oil activities now accounting for more than half of its GDP and visitor numbers reaching 123 million in 2025.
