Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture, has been honoured with the Diamond Award for Excellence in Culture — the highest accolade from the Spanish Luxury Association (Asociación Española del Lujo).
She is the only Arab woman among this year’s global recipients, recognised for her leadership in promoting culture as a driver of progress and dialogue.
The award was presented in Madrid by Princess Béatrice d’Orléans and Cristina Martín Blasi, Presidents and Founders of the Asociación Española del Lujo.
Dubai Culture’s Director General, Hala Badri, accepted the honour on Her Highness’s behalf.
The ceremony brought together 25 international figures, including Baroness Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza as well as representatives from the UN, Elie Saab, Mobile World Congress, the World Economic Forum, Chopard, and the Kering Group.
Founded in 2010, the Spanish Luxury Association celebrates excellence across fashion, gastronomy, lifestyle and culture.
Its Diamond Award honours individuals who leave a lasting cultural legacy and champion humanistic values.
