Passengers travelling between Dubai and other emirates can now enjoy free Wi-Fi on all intercity buses operated by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
In collaboration with telecom provider e&, the RTA has completed the rollout of complimentary internet access across its fleet of 259 buses connecting Dubai with Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ajman and Fujairah.
Commuters can stay connected throughout their journey using smartphones, tablets, or laptops — whether for work, personal tasks or entertainment.
This initiative is part of the RTA’s wider push for digital transformation and supports the UAE Digital Government Strategy.
The service will be continuously evaluated and improved in partnership with e&.
