A new nol Student Package has been introduced in Dubai, providing a 50 per cent discount on public transport services, and up to 70 per cent off on local and international brands, both in the UAE and abroad.

Students can also use the card for payments at various retail stores nationwide.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) unveiled the package on the sidelines of GITEX Global in Dubai.

This initiative, in collaboration with the International Student Identity Card Association (ISCI), is designed to provide a host of benefits for school and university students across the UAE, with a strong focus on Dubai.

It aims to enhance the daily travel experience for students of all ages using the RTA’s public transport modes, including metro, tram, buses, and marine transport.

Students will also receive a personalised international student identification card that is integrated with the nol card. The card can be requested via the nol Pay app, and it will be delivered directly to the specified address.

Later this year, an upgraded version of the nol Student Card will introduce features that allow parents to manage their children’s accounts, including topping up balances and controlling daily expenses.

The launch of the nol Student Package follows an agreement signed with the ISCI during the Middle East and North Africa Transport Congress and Exhibition in February.
