300,000 people were removed from Mecca for not registering to perform Hajj.
The official Saudi News Agency (SPA) reported that among those deported from Mecca were 153,998 foreigners who came on tourist visas instead of Hajj visas.
The Saudi Ministry of Interior said Public Security seized 140 fake Hajj campaigns and 64 carriers violating Hajj regulations and instructions, 97,664 violating vehicles were returned, 171,587 non-residents of Mecca were returned and 4,032 violating Hajj regulations and instructions.
Since last Saturday, more than 1.3 million registered people have arrived in Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj.
More than 1.8 million Muslims performed Hajj last year, according to official figures.
