Harris and Trump face off as election results roll in

Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris and Republican former president Donald Trump are locked in a fierce battle for the White House, with polls closing across the U.S. and the country awaiting results on Election Night.

The race is expected to hinge on key battleground states like Georgia and Pennsylvania, with the magic number to win the presidency set at 270 electoral votes.

More than 82 million Americans cast their ballots during early voting, including Harris, with Trump casting his ballot in Palm Beach, Florida.

Both candidates took to social media on election day to give their final thoughts before the big decision is made.

Initial results show Trump with an early lead, but it’s still too early to predict a winner as votes continue to be counted.
