Kuwait's Civil Aviation has announced that a drone targeted Kuwait International Airport, causing minor injuries to several employees and material damage to the passenger terminal (T1) amid current regional developments.
Spokesperson Abdullah Al-Rajhi told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that emergency procedures were implemented and the incident was dealt with.
He added that "the situation is under control", noting that the safety of the passengers and staff remains the top priority.
